2. Eligibility
Our services are designed for individuals and families seeking developmental support, education, advocacy, and engagement opportunities. By accessing our resources, you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that a parent or legal guardian is acting on behalf of a minor. Organizations or institutions may also engage with us in accordance with applicable partnership agreements.
3. Service Use & Limitations
All programs, assessments, and resources provided by DCSS are designed with professional care and ethical diligence. However, participation does not guarantee specific outcomes, as results vary based on individual needs, cooperation, and external circumstances. Users are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and updated personal information
- Participating respectfully in programs and sessions
- Adhering to attendance, behavioral, and safety protocols outlined during onboarding
- Respecting the confidentiality and dignity of all staff and clients
DCSS reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for any individual or group that violates these expectations.
4. Intellectual Property
All materials provided by DCSS—including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, digital downloads, workshops, forms, and publications—are the intellectual property of Developmental Care Support Services. Unauthorized use, duplication, distribution, or modification of any content is strictly prohibited unless prior written consent is granted. All copyrights, trademarks, and proprietary information remain the property of DCSS or its licensed partners.
5. Payment Terms
For programs that require payment, terms will be clearly stated at the point of registration or service agreement. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, electronic transfers, and, where applicable, Medicaid or insurance billing. Late or missed payments may result in service delays or suspensions until balances are resolved. Sliding-scale options are available to qualifying individuals upon request and review.
6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
If a service or appointment needs to be canceled or rescheduled, we ask that notice be provided at least 48 hours in advance. Refund eligibility depends on the nature of the service:
- Workshops & Events: Refunds may be granted up to 7 days prior to the event date.
- Ongoing Services: Refunds or service credits may be issued on a case-by-case basis based on usage and contractual terms.
- Donations: All donations are non-refundable unless made in error, in which case a written request must be submitted within 7 business days.
7. Privacy & Confidentiality
We prioritize the privacy and safety of all clients. Information shared with DCSS—whether online, in writing, or in person—is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We use encryption, access control, and professional discretion to safeguard all personal and medical information. Any breach or misuse of confidential data will be addressed with utmost seriousness and legal consequence.
